Review
First of all, the graphic designer part of me really loves these books. They are so visually appealing. They’ve got bright colors and bold illustrations with simple, clean text and well balanced design. I love them for that fact alone. But then they’re about musicians our kids know nothing about and it makes it extra fun. There’s something about kids versions of adult things that always make me giggle. These are fantastic representations of that. They’re so much fun!
While KISS is more familiar to me personally, and I enjoy the take on the color primer, I am a big fan of the fact that the Baby Bowie book features adjectives. This is not something you see a lot of in kids books. I love introducing a concept i extra appreciate as an English major to my kids in this way. Overall, I’m really pleased with these books!
