Review
This title had me giggling before I’d even opened the book. I don’t know why I find it so funny, but I do! It makes me happy. It’s also a fun one to read. I was expecting it to be a bedtime routine-focused story (because I didn’t read the cover copy) but instead it goes into all the different ways you can sleep—I mean sheep. It also cleverly works as an opposites book, with each spread showing two similar but opposing ways to sheep, like standing up or upside down, or dreaming in color or just black and white. Eventually all the ways that are offered in how you can sleep leads to the sheep actually going to sleep, as is usually the case with books about going to sleep.
As for Maren’s enjoyment, she’s still a bit young to give me a real impression other than that she finds the edges pleasing to chew on. But she seems as interested as she can be at this age!
