Board Book Review: Merbaby’s Lullaby
The rhythm of the sentences give it an almost wave-like quality, which of course goes perfectly with the story itself.

Welcome to a hush-filled bedtime rhyme from the bottom of the sea.
Gently rocking waves, softly singing whales, and twinkly glowing sea stars light the way to sweet dreams as merbabies drift off to sleep.
Review
This is a sweet and simple one. The rhythm of the sentences give it an almost wave-like quality, which of course goes perfectly with the story itself. I can imagine this one being turned into an actual lullaby as well. This is definitely one that gets a pass from me as far as being a bedtime driven story, as we usually don’t read to her at bedtime yet (because books distract her and then she won’t go to sleep)! I would read this any time of day.
My favorite thing about it, though, is the artwork. I love the colors and the style, and I would totally frame that cover art if they made it into a print. It’s so beautiful!
