Board Book Review: Oh Dear!

A cute little book that we will likely spend lots of time reading and flip flapping over and over!

We received these books in exchange for an honest review.

Lift the flaps to meet all the animals on the farm.

Where can you find the eggs for breakfast? Not in the horse’s stable or the dog’s kennel—oh dear!

Review

Well, once Maren got the hang of this one, it was a hit! She loves flipping the pages of books right now, so she was extremely interested in the sudden ability to flip tiny pages on each page she flipped! We have other lift the flap books, but this is the first one she has actually really started to get the hang of the flap. We really like the double special flap surprise on the last page. It adds just another little layer of fun!

As for the story, it’s a cute guide through the farm, with a paragraph style that leads the child to guess the animal rather than just reading it aloud. This will be a fun feature once she gets all her words in order and starts saying things with more purpose.
Definitely a cute little book that we will likely spend lots of time reading and flip flapping over and over!
