Board Book Review: The Missing Bouncy Ball, The Lost Race Car, The Vanishing Baseball Cap

It almost reminds me a bit of an Old Spice commercial where the actor pops up in random places talking about the product.

Review

These books make me chuckle. I love these two detectives. There’s something really funny about the way they are drawn into the scenes. It almost reminds me a bit of an Old Spice commercial where the actor pops up in random places talking about the product. But instead of selling a product, they are cleverly describing the object we are looking for while showing differences and how to identify those differences. It’s essentially a really cute and clever opposites book! But it also works as a mystery, as well. Each new thing we find to compare to our missing item, we learn something new about it. The race car is red, not white. It has four wheels, not two… etc. Then, at the end of the book, we have a clue guide, that lets us go over the clues that helped us identify the missing item. This is a really cool and useful addition for further learning and reading!
