Forky in Craft Buddy Day

Review

This book is super fun and had us cracking up at all the newly made creations and their refusal to accept that they were now craft-made toys. Each character is stubbornly holding onto its past self, trying to do things it would have done before it became a craft. Because of this, hilarity ensues. But Forky comes to the rescue, helping them to realize their true nature now as toys. And just in time! Because the kids are coming in from recess soon, and seeing their crafts running around having existential crises would not end well.

It’s such a fun story and makes us really excited to go see the movie, which is out TODAY!! Ahhh! We are waiting till Sunday morning, however, to see it, so we can hopefully avoid some of the crowds of opening weekend. I’m not sure who is more excited about this, Madeline or me. I guess we will see!
