I Feel Teal

Review

As an artist, I really appreciate this book for showcasing colors different from the standard ones you usually see in kids books. It expands the language of color, and also describes moods and feelings in the same way. I especially love the “ecru” page which sums up a good peaceful reading time, in my opinion. The whole of the book comes down to all the different shades of your emotions come together to make you who you are, which I really like. Also, this seems to be one of only two books that Madeline likes to repeat the words I read on every page. It’s interesting the ones she decides to do this on.
