Cover Copy

The first day of school can be scary- even for a sloth! When Patti forgets her class report at the Rainforest Rescue Center, it is up to Sloth and his other (faster) rainforest friends to return it to her. Together, Sloth, Peccary, Boa, Capuchin, and Ocelot travel to Patti’s school, but in order to return her notebook, they must overcome their fears of a new environment and realize that what makes them unique is what also helps them fit right in!

Sloth to the Rescue

Review

This is a super cute story with a lot of great learning angles. There is of course the theme of the book mentioned in the cover copy, which is that what makes them special helps them fit in. But there’s also the added aspect of learning about the different animal names and something about them. There’s also the aspect of thoughtfulness and friendship! Aside from all that, the story is super cute and so are the illustrations! We really enjoy this one.
